This course is designed to be an update of latest information for the general practitioner treating children. We will review basic techniques of pediatric dentistry, present a summary of the latest clinical research, and illustrate step-by-step methods for various procedures.
You will gain a greater understanding of:
- Child Management (non-pharmacologic and pharmacologic methods.)
- Pulp therapy procedures.
- Treatment of traumatized teeth.
- Use of fluoride supplements and topical fluoride.
- Space management.
- Treatment of dental emergencies in children.
- Child abuse and forensics.
This course will be a broad overview of typical areas of pediatric dentistry practice and will benefit those practitioners who treat children.
