DR. KATYA ARCHAMBAULT …
Cone Beam CT and its capabilities for more detailed imaging information and communication have changed the landscape of dentistry. The importance of diagnosis from the clinical exam is a crucial part of the dentist’s tasks. Radiological exams are complimentary to the clinical exam and are often limited to the information provided by classical intraoral and panoramic radiographs. This webinar will review the application of CBCT in general dental practice and the limitations of conventional radiographs.
At the conclusion of this course, you should be able to:
- Learn how clinical casework leads to superior decision-making.
- Learn about the ideal initial exam & methods for increasing treatment plan acceptance.
- Learn about the radiological interpretation of different conditions involving the oral & maxillofacial area.
- Learn to recognize when to refer your images to a maxillofacial radiologist for interpretation.
